Women-Centered ADHD Evaluation
MOST NEURODIVERGENT WOMEN HAVE NEVER BEEN DIAGNOSED
Women-Centered ADHD Specialist: For decades, ADHD research focused primarily on boys, leaving ADHD unrecognized and not well understood in girls. Most women are not diagnosed with ADHD until adulthood, oftentimes after their children have been diagnosed. As a result, women with ADHD can spend years looking organized but collapsing privately, stuck in cycles of perfectionism and chronic over-functioning in their family, relationships, and work. Instead of recognizing that ADHD may be contributing to these problems, women may initially find themselves reaching out for help with anxiety, depression, burnout, and relational strain.
We now know that ADHD often presents differently in women. As a Women-Centered ADHD Specialist, I provide comprehensive telehealth evaluations that are informed by this research and thoughtfully attuned to the unique ways ADHD presents in women across the lifespan. The process typically includes a clinical interview, several standardized psychological tests, and a review of requested records. My goal is to provide clarity, practical recommendations, and an accurate diagnosis to help you move forward with confidence.
I offer ADHD evaluations for adults 18 years and older. I do not provide assessments for children or teens at this time.
